new addition

meet the new addition to the lige family...

This is Joan

and this is Rodney...I love this thing! He's SO cute!

They found a new home in my scrapbook room where today, I spent most of my day. It was so nice and warm in there (since the rest of our house is 60 degrees thanks to Adam!). And I started a new mini book called "the crew...aka the cousins". I love how it's turning out and it's not close to done. Here's a peak at what I was working on today...

I had a couple other pages done but I messed up on them with damn rub ons that will not come off! Can't wait to complete this book...it's gonna be funny.

By the way, I actually bought skinny jeans today! I never thought I'd give in to that 80's look but I bought a pair of awesome boots that would only look good with a pair of skinny jeans. So now I own a pair.

HAHAH renee thats gonna be awesome... the best part about rita's page is that she's gonna read "space cadet" and have no idea what it means.

Hey Renee love your book so far-have you tried using UnDo to remove your rub ons? It works also try using scotch tape to pull them off the page when you have a goof. HTH.

I love love love the frog! I used to have a tall skinny tank that had several in it. Its so funny when they go to the top and then just fall down, like bungee jumping! The new book looks great too!

Great book! Love the sanded edges on the photos!

ps. I hate to be a bearer of bad news, and really you should blame Marie because I think I learned it from her and her grammar-correcting, but Joan is a boy fish... you should call him John!

Does Rita read this blog? I can't wait to see the rest. And poor
Joan/John. Now it's very confused.

wait, i don't get how we know it's a boy. are all fish boys? how do fish have babies? why is the sky blue? is a zebra really black or white? what happened to renee's fact of the day? where do babies come from?

John, aka Joan, is a male betta. Male bettas are the ones with the long fins and tails... females don't have the fancy tails. I swear I'm not a nerd - my first job was working at a fish store (fish for pets, not for eating!) and I learned all about the wonderful world of fishies... okay, maybe I am a nerd.

Way to ask the tough questions Marie... I know about betta fish. I know about them because against the strict advisement of the pet store clerk, I bought two and put them in a tank with each other. I woke up to the sound of splashing every morning because they were basically eating each other alive. I felt bad but since my alarm clock wasnt working that week, I decided to let them wake me up every day by eating each other, til they died and then i bought a new alarm clock. I am clearly a sick fuck. Although im pretty sure fish are one of the few creatures that do NOT have a soul. Who knows.
