Home Sweet Home

We're back home from Arizona and we're TANNED and at least 5 lbs heavier! All we did was layout in the sun, drink, and eat...literally! It was very relaxing and we had a bunch of good laughs (thanks to my cousin, Chris, who met us there from LA) Here's a picture of the jokester who is working on getting a record deal (keep your fingers crossed everyone)...

It feels so good to have my laptop back! I am attached to this thing! I checked my regular blogs and saw Stacey's (who is also on the DT at Scrappy Chic) blog post today. Her layout (along with Janiece's who is also on the DT) was published in Scrapbook Trends. I love this LO and have to scraplift it!

Check out their blogs if you want some inspiration (jeniece's might have her scrapbook trends lo posted but i only checked blog enteries for today, check it out though, they both post a bunch of layouts)

By the way, you know how I said that I am terrified of flying? Well, I took 2mg (highest dose) of xanax b/c i just couldn't fall asleep and could feel the turbulence. I came in on a red eye flight, arrived at 5:30, got home at 6:30am and thought I could take a quick hr nap but I slept through the alarm clock, 3 phone calls, and woke up at 1:45. I am ready for another nap b/c I still feel like I'm walking on clouds! This is a miracle drug!

fact: There is no such thing as an "air pocket". It's a term the media uses for turbulence.

This is what the pilot told me last night when i asked him if the plane can crash from air pockets. By the way, the answer to that is question is no.

I can't get enough...

All I want to do is sleep! I get a full night's sleep and I still don't want to get up in the morning and take naps during the day! What's wrong with me??...And NO I'm not pregnant for those that are going to leave a comment about that (Marie & Chris). I think it's that damn stats class that's making me want to do nothing but sleep. I hate that damn class! It's just a bunch of gibberish bullshit, i'll probably never use!

I was supposed to study for my stats test yesterday, but did this instead...

And then I said I was going to study when i finished that layout, but instead I took Adam's credit card and went scrapbook shopping online! I told him that I'd only spend $40 but i ended up spending $62 (without shipping)...oops! I even removed somethings out my my shopping cart ($20 worth).

So I woke up early to study for stats, but instead I've been on the internet for the past 1 1/2! I really have to get my ass in gear, grab some coffee, and just get this shit over with!

WHAT?!

Adam is beating me at my own game! I can't believe this!! Michelle and I taught Adam how to play 51 and he's been dominating the game! He's been obsessed and we've played every night this entire weekend. By the way, I can't believe how fast this weekend went by!

Friday...we went out to Mon Jin Lau (great Chinese/Japanese restaurant) for Adam's friends birthday. They came over afterwards and we got to show off our remodeled house (they loved it). After they left, we played cards and Adam kicked my ass (i was buzzing though).

Saturday...Marilyn and I went to drop off my DT layouts and on our way back we stopped at a neighborhood garage sale. It was actually a pretty good one. I spent a whole $1.25! I bought a thick black bracelet, a wicker basket, and a gorgeous towel rack...go Renee (I NEVER find a bargain). Did some more shopping at Target, bought stuff for my scrapbook room and started to remodel it (nothing big, but definitely better). Then Adam and I made dinner, played cards, and ate dessert.

Sunday...studied, watched the Wings lose, hung out at my parents, and now Adam and I are playing cards (he's very slow, so as I wait my turn I'm blogging). I really should be studying for my child development exam tomorrow...oh well, I guess I'll wake up early tomorrow. Yippee...

So is anyone still interested in the facts that I post? I was just about to post one, but wonder if anyone finds any of it interesting. Keep "the facts" or ditch "the facts"

The Storm

The storm is freaking out Goose! Adam was eating dinner and Goose jumped up on Adam's lap when heard the thunder. Adam had no warning! it cracked me up...I just had to take a picture! We had to literally push him off when Adam wanted to get up. Poor Goose, it's very stressful for him.

I made another layout for the design team (janiece, if you're reading, i'll drop them off this week).

The Day After Lunesta...

for Goose! So here's the hilarious story...
I dropped a sleeping pill last night and before I could get to it, Goose ate it! I wasn't sure if that was going to be funny or a disaster! Thank God it turned out hilarious! Goose jumped up on the bed after he took the Lunesta (on Adam's side of the bed, thank God) and literally passed out after 10 minutes! Normally Goose lays on our bed for a few minutes and then gets off and goes to his own bed...well not last night! He did not move the entire night and left barely any room for Adam to move either (luckily we have a king sized bed) and he didn't wake up until 9am! That's very late for Goose who normally wakes us up at 7 to go out. The poor guy went out to, ate, and went back to sleep (snoring) for a few more hours. Needless to say, Adam and I had a good laugh!
