This is called "the devil's swimming pool". In September and December, people can actually swim as close to the edge of the falls without falling over! This crazy shit is located in Zimbabwe, Africa. I couldn't get paid enought to do this...

15 vs. 22

So I found this hilarious check list at Carolyn's last week. Adam and I each did one...I did one for him and he did one for me. It was so funny! I think you can click on it to see what we checked off.

he said he forgot one (tailgate), so really that makes it 16 vs. 22. And check out my list of 22! As Adam was reading this, he was shocked that I checked off "wear that shirt". I marked it off cause he ALWAYS has holes in his white tees! Always! So he said, "holes, i don't have any holes!" But luckily, my camera was right next to me cause I got a picture of the hole!!

He actually has 2 of them!!!

remember the SIS package I got from Candice, well I started making a mini book from the chipboard album that was part of the goodies.

It's an album of random thoughts at random times...

I love the look of different sized pages....it adds so much dimension...

and this is for all those people (there are a lot of those people) that tell me I look like Rachel Ray...

not much else going on. not feeling well again...chills and aches. i pretty much spent the entire day in bed...except for when I went to stats class. sounds like a fun day, huh?

OMG OMG OMG!!!!

I'm so excited!!!! I got the somerset issue today that has my first published feature article!!!! YAY!!!! although the pictures don't do the journal justice, check it out...





and i love the fact that my mom is in the magazine too!!! I wish I could share this with you mom...you have no idea how bad I want to talk to you!!!

so adam was in my scrapbook room trying to fix our internet connection. He asked me for a pen (he was getting a number from the internet company). I gave it to him and asked if he needed paper. He said "no". I asked what he's writing the number on. He said "this thing". I look over and it my favorite paper source label (which I have to order online if i want them)!!! I was like, "off all the things you can write on, you're writing on a paper source label!" He said, "what's the big deal it's cut in half anyway"....he'll never understand!!! and I guess if you're not a scrapbooker, you'll never understand either.

So we did a SIS gift swap...it was so much fun to do. There were a bunch of us and I got paired up with Candice. She sent me this lovely box..... notice the punchinella.....i died when i saw those...they're my favorite!!!

Well hello hello

Where the hell have I been?! Not really blogging that's for sure! I swear my entire life consists of school and work! It's absolutely insane!!! But, I have to say that all this studying is paying off. I got my statistics test back today. The class average was a 72% and I thought for sure I bombed it....BUT i actually got a 92%....oh my god, I heard the heavens sing!!! I was so shocked that I had to make sure it was my test...literally!

So I've been meaning to post this picture for a while now. This was the funniest moment I've had for a long, long time (I need more of those). Carolyn pulled her mercedes into my unshoveled driveway the day after a snow storm (a week and a half ago). Of course she got stuck! And here are Chrystal, Marilyn, and me trying to push her out....It was SOOO funny...did we really think we were able to do that?! I guess so.....

of course our weak selves couldn't do it alone, so after almost a half hour, we woke up Adam (who was sick by the way) to try....it worked. she finally got out of our driveway. It was a riot though. we were dying of laughter!

I'm throwing a Health and Safey Fair the day after Easter (march 24) for kids that live at or below the poverty line. There are going to be a lot of single moms there too. Does anyone have anything they want to donate as a door prize? Anything for a child or a mother? Also, I'll take ideas for door prizes? I already have a gas card, haircut certificate, coney island gift card, stuffed animal...any other ideas or donations???

Look at this lovable ball of fur.....

My brother's fiance surprised him with a new 8 week old puppy!! I want her SO bad!! Doesn't she look so cuddly?!! I wish Adam would surprise me with one of these! (hint hint if you're reading this adam). Her name is Charlie but I'm not yet convinced she looks like a Charlie.

I'm spending today and tomorrow studying for a stats test (i want to vomit, that's how much i hate this shit!) and then sunday I'm cropping with staci and erin....i can't wait!!! i need some major mojo...I want to work on something so bad but i just have no ideas in mind.....nothing's looking good to me, hopefully that'll change by sunday.

this is the Nordstrom window display...i love it! of course this is one of the few times my camera wasn't in my purse so i had to use farah's camera phone...it turned out okay though. I think I'm going to be putting this pic in my "inspire me" book. I'm also on a mission to find this exact quote and font so I can put it in my scrapbook room...luckily my best friend works at nordstrom.
